....and so to Saturday and Strathfarrar approx 18km and about 1550m of ascent
An inauspicious start with the tops in cloud, but cloud that lifted as we walked into the bog open corrie and followed the path onto the ridge. Up there we ended in the sun with great views to the West and North, spotting Torridon and the hills in behind Gerry's at Craig. Old favourites.
A superb high level ridge undulating with some big climbs. Our fitness was really coming on now.
We met Farshid back at Cannich - he'd been in the glen too doing a Graham and helpfully dropping us off at our start, allowing us to walk back to my car at the end in just 5 and a half hours. We jogged down from the last top in an hour. Great fun.
Steven Fallon describes our route here with a familiarity that demonstrates his 13 rounds of the Munros.
