Yesterday we were far from the sunshine of Spain. We did not get moving until late, but by mid-afternoon we were at Dunkeld for a walk in the Hermitage, taking in some awesome autumn colours. Marian's sister and her family were visiting and it was a good place to take them to show off the season's impact.
Last time we were here we watched salmon leaping up those rocks but there were none today, just a few kayakers messing about in the floods.
The colours of the leaves were stunning.
