Pentlands Sunrise

I didn't get on to the hills until after 8am this morning and looking out of the window earlier I thought I had missed the best of the sunrise.  I was indeed too late for the broad pink sky that I saw from my window but I still some some amazing displays.

Walking up next to the ski slope there was still some excitement in the sky.

I went striaght up Caerketton (14:18) in a good time then spent a few minutes taking in the views around me:

It was pretty impressive.

I even took a quick video.  It was windy as you can hear.  I am also looking very tired!

Then it was along the tops all the way to Allermuir.

I saw the same guy that I mentioned last week.  I tried to get beyond a kurt "Morning", to a more friendly "Hiya", but there was no conversation.

I was reading another blog the other week where a guy was posting about Allermuir Hill.  It is interesting to see how other people view these hills that I know so well.

Anyway, a nice start to the week.
